The Ardeton String Quartet - Thinking Green

It's becoming something of a watchword at the moment, but being 'green' and looking after the environment are something we should all be doing. We at the Ardeton String Quartet feel passionately about the environment and climate change. Even though we are a relatively small business, we are making sure we are doing everything we can to minimise the environmental impact and carbon footprint from our performance at your event.

At the Ardeton String Quartet we like to think that we are innovative in our approach to string quartet performing, and therefore we are constantly evaluating our working methods in relation to good environmental practice. Whether an intimate wedding or a large corporate event we try to be as green as possible, including the following steps:

In the near future we hope to be able to offer clients the opportunity to pay a small additional premium on the playing fee to offset the carbon footprint created by the quartet in relation to their event. We are currently looking into ways of doing this in an ethical and constructive way.

In the meantime, you can rest assured that the quartet has worked in the most environmentally efficient way as possible towards your event.
