If you're looking for something a little different from the 'usual' string quartet, we specialise in fun and versatile performances based around our eclectic and almost inexhaustible repertoire.  The Ardeton String Quartet performs predominantly in the Bristol, Bath, South West and South Wales areas, but is increasingly in demand across the UK. 

Previous clients and events include product launches for Marks and Spencers PLC and Paradigm Norton; drinks receptions for Lloyds TSB, the British Society for Haemotology, Hartham Park Associates, and Sula Systems; Gala dinners for the NHS and the Bristol Organic Food Conference; graduate balls for Birmingham and Manchester Universities, and banquets for KPMF Films Ltd and Pearce Construction. The Ardeton Quartet has entertained the world's press and hundreds of well-known celebrities at the 2007 SkyArts party with a specially-commissioned joint performance with dancers from the English National Ballet. The Quartet has also entertained guests of the Welsh Tourist Board and Arts Council of Wales at the Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival, and performed for over 1000 Veterans at a "Wales Remembers" event in Cardiff, attended by HRH The Prince of Wales. The quartet has also provided music for the Officer's Mess of the Royal Horse Artillary, and Jane Austen-themed night for Bristol Media.

Whether you require a formal or informal atmosphere, we can tailor our attire and repertoire to suit your needs. Formal dining can be enhanced with elegant classical music, whilst evening parties can be enlivened with jazz and pop selections. We can also provide a subtle musical backdrop for your drinks  reception, or provide a centre-piece 'stage show' for product launches and special events. We can also tailor our appearance to suit your event, including costumes where appropriate given enough notice.

We are always happy to develop a performance specifically for your event. Music not in our repertoire can be arranged, or your chosen theme music can be prepared in advance.
